About Sergeant TAP

Sergeant TAP is a military transition and workforce platform built to help service members translate their experience, prepare for civilian careers, identify opportunities that fit, and make better-informed decisions about what comes next.

Our Mission

Help transitioning military families build their next chapter by connecting civilian career opportunities, military continuity pathways, and regional workforce ecosystems in one intelligent transition platform.

More Than a Resume Builder

Military transition is not one decision. It can involve a civilian career, a new community, continued Guard or Reserve service, family considerations, and the challenge of explaining military experience to employers who may not understand it.

Sergeant TAP brings those pieces closer together. The platform helps users translate military experience into civilian terms, build professional resumes, explore civilian jobs and SkillBridge opportunities, compare job fit, prepare job-specific cover letters and interviews, and explore opportunities geographically.

For Service Members

Sergeant TAP is designed to reduce the amount of transition work service members have to figure out on their own. Military experience is translated into civilian relevance, opportunities can be evaluated against the individual's actual background, and career preparation continues beyond a single counseling appointment.

Sergeant TAP is free to service members, veterans, and military families.

For Employers

Employers can discover military talent, understand transferable experience, evaluate candidate-to-job fit, manage applicants, communicate with candidates, and recruit through the hiring process.

For Communities

Military communities invest heavily in the people who serve there. Sergeant TAP helps regions make local opportunity visible earlier, connect employers with transitioning talent, and build stronger military-to-civilian workforce pipelines.

Military Continuity

For some service members, transition does not mean leaving military service entirely. Sergeant TAP is building military continuity into the transition experience so civilian employment and Guard or Reserve opportunities can be considered together rather than as separate decisions.
